Hi! My name is Danielle and I'm an artist from Wisconsin, USA. I've always had a passion for art since I could hold a pencil and I'm mostly self-taught! I started as a traditional artist using oils, gouache, and ink, but have since pivoted to learning more about digital art!My inspirations pull from a wide range of sources including sci-fi & fantasy, dreams, nature, video games, horror media, and my life growing up in the Great Lakes region! I also love to revisit shows and series that are nostalgic or near + dear to my heart.Materials:

Artist Statement

I love creating worlds full of odd mysteries, fantastic beauty, strange comfort, and eerie horror that fuel my curiosity and my escapism. When I was a kid, I dreamed of leaving Earth behind in a UFO to explore places and planets unknown, or to slip into other supernatural, fantasy, and eldritch realms as a quiet observer and that feeling has continued into adulthood. Sharing the aesthetics and intrigue in the 'other' and the unusual has always been a goal of mine.I've always been incredibly fascinated by the interaction between the natural world and the man-made one. I find so much beauty in nature reclaiming the abandoned passion projects of civilization and reshaping it to its own benefit in spite of it all. I love to depict the push and pull between a mechanized landscape and a lush natural environment, to imagine utopias and dystopias of each extreme.At the end of it all, I love seeing a restored balance and interaction between humanity and nature, both real and fictional, and I continue to stay hopeful for the future out of spite, instead of lamenting what protections have been threatened, lost or diminished in the present day.
